01: The First CONVERSATION

Everything begins with a conversation, in person or over a video call. There is nothing to prepare and no pressure at all. It is simply a chance to meet, to talk a little about your day, and to see how it feels. If it feels right, the next steps follow naturally.

02: Discovering YOUR STORY

Once you decide to work together a thoughtfully written questionnaire and a series of gentle meetings is the time for Fiona to learn more about you both as a couple. Your life moments, your visions for the future, your passions and aspirations. The small details that make your relationship entirely your own. This is the part many couples are surprised by, and the part they come to value.

03: WRITING Your Ceremony

From there, she writes. Starting with a blank sheet every ceremony is composed by hand, placed with care and shaped around the couple at its centre. Every moment is unique, and every ceremony is a gift.

04: Your WEDDING DAY

In the lead-up, Fiona liaises quietly with you and your suppliers, so the ceremony settles seamlessly into the rhythm of the day. She arrives well before your guests, calm and fully prepared, and holds the ceremony with the warmth and steadiness you will have come to know. All that is left for you to do is be present in it.

FAQs

Fiona writes and officiates ceremonies in London and across the UK, and, also by arrangement in Europe and further afield. For couples who have invited a friend or family member to officiate, she writes bespoke ceremony scripts and offers practical guidance so every detail is considered. Personal vows can also be crafted alongside any ceremony. The brochure sets out each of these in full, along with what to expect.
Fiona loves to travel and is happy to officiate ceremonies anywhere in the UK as well as Europe and beyond.
Fiona is not currently able to perform the legal aspects of the marriage or civil partnership. The legal formalities will need to be completed with a Registrar either before or after your celebrant-led ceremony. Following the Government's reform of the marriage laws she hopes very much that this will change.
Fiona's questions are designed to gently uncover how you would like your ceremony to feel and thoughtful prompts will help reveal something you may not have known how to ask for or knew that you wanted. Fiona is there to guide you, explaining and offering various ceremony styles and options for you to consider.

Yes. Bespoke personal vows can be written alongside your ceremony, so that every word spoken on the day feels held within the same voice. The brochure has the detail.
There is no fixed length. Each ceremony is paced to suit you and your day, long enough to hold everything that matters, and never a moment longer. This is something you will shape together.
