MEET FIONA

Fiona Elizabeth Marsh is a wedding celebrant who creates deeply personal, story-led ceremonies for couples who value meaning, warmth and a true sense of connection.

Her work goes far beyond the practical part of marrying two people. At its heart, it is about shaping a ceremony that is deeply felt on the day, and remembered long after it.

A born romantic Fiona loves stories that leave you feeling you are there in the moment.  Following a wonderful career in publishing and PR she joined her daughter's successful luxury wedding planning business, Studio Porter, and was inspired to qualify as an independent wedding celebrant so that she could continue to combine her passions for words, storytelling and storybook settings.

Fiona regularly attends social events such as Royal Ascot, Wimbledon and Henley Festival. Her own wedding in the romantic city of Venice was the most magical day of her life. She is a true Londoner at heart and adores spending time looking at the fashion exhibitions at the V&A and discovering new restaurants with her daughter, Hannah.  When she's not working, Fiona and her husband look forward to escaping to rural Wales where they go for long walks with their GoldenDoodle, Theo, preferably with a pub stop en route.

Fiona’s Approach

Fiona’s approach is calm, thoughtful and quietly confident. She listens closely, asks gently, and gives couples the room to talk about what truly matters to them, often things they have never quite put into words before.

From there, she writes. Starting with a blank sheet every ceremony is composed by hand, placed with care and shaped around the couple at its centre. Every moment is unique, and every ceremony is a gift.

Fiona’s Beliefs

Fiona believes the most lasting ceremonies are not remembered for what was said, but for how they made people feel.

That belief shapes everything she does: connection over performance, sincerity over spectacle, and quiet confidence over excess. The aim is never to impress, but to resonate, and to create something that lingers long after the day itself.

“Fiona has a rare gift for making you feel completely at ease. By the end, she knew us better than we knew ourselves.”

Working With Fiona

No two couples, and no two ceremonies, are ever the same. If this is the kind of ceremony you have been hoping for, here is how working together unfolds.
